Bryan Odegard serves as Chief Executive Officer of Benmedica, bringing a vision rooted in strategic partnerships, operational excellence, and a strong company culture. Originally joining the organization to lead its transition from a technical consulting firm to a scalable digital health platform, Bryan now guides Benmedica’s growth as a trusted partner for health plans, PBMs, and healthcare innovators.
With over 25 years of experience in payer and PBM markets, Bryan has led transformative initiatives across product strategy, operations, compliance, and enterprise delivery. He has held executive and consulting roles for organizations including Elixir Solutions, Anthem, HealthPartners, Blue Cross Blue Shield Michigan, CareMore, Prime Therapeutics, Accredo Health, WellDyneRx, Express Scripts, and CVS Health.
As CEO, Bryan plays a critical role in translating vision into execution—developing high-impact products and services that align with Benmedica’s mission to simplify medication benefits and reduce drug spend. His expertise spans government program launches, PBM technology innovation, pharmacogenomics, population health, and advanced analytics. He has also held P&L responsibility for SaaS technology solutions serving PBM clients, and has driven product strategy for mid-market PBMs.
Bryan holds an MBA from the University of St. Thomas, a BA in Investment Finance from Metropolitan State University, and is certified as a PMP, CSM, and CSPO. Beyond his work at Benmedica, Bryan is a co-founder of globalH2Ope, a nonprofit water ministry in northern Haiti, where he remains actively involved in advancing global impact.
